The job market is changing and on Monday, 5,000 Detroit area students were introduced to the fundaments of coding.

Richard Grundy, co-lead of Code{D}etroit, says they're learning how to program a computer, build a website, build an app, and more.

Over 4 days this week, students will learn about mobile app design, development and coding in order to help ensure they are exposed to technology.

"Being comfortable with knowing how to develop different products is huge for any student," Grundy said.

Code{D}etroit is a part of the larger Techstars Startup Week Detroit and several businesses are involved in making this a powerful week.
