DETROIT - Residents who live near the corner of Intervale and Manor woke up to a crime scene Thursday morning. Detroit police say a man in his 30's was found dead inside a car. He was in the driver's seat and had been shot multiple times.
"I don't know if it happened this morning or after midnight or what. I don't know." said Julia Hayes who lives nearby.
Neighbors say this is a tough area on Detroit's west side, but this hits too close to home.
"This is something. I've been over here 50 years and I haven't seen anything like this,” said an unidentified neighbor. “Right at my door step. It's just crazy. Things happen so close to home now. Wow. I have seen it bad, but not this bad where they're finding bodies now."
