Investigators are looking for a man who robbed an Oakland Township Subway shop - and didn't just take money on Sunday night.

An armed suspect robbed the shop of $200, a sandwich and two cookies at about 8 p.m. at the 4834 Adams Road location.

The man, who entered the store wearing a construction style outfit and a dust mask covering part of his face, first placed his order. Then as the clerk began preparing the sandwich, he pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, racked it hard, according to police, and demanded money from the register.

He then fled on foot with the money and food. Canine officers tracked him to the rear of the shopping center but investigators believe he likely ran to a waiting car.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 30 years old, between 5 feet,10 inches and 6 feet tall, wearing a red and white baseball style hat and an orange construction vest.

Crime Stoppers is offering $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Call 1-800-SPEAK-UP, you never have to leave your name.
