Now the election's over, what about the signs?

The election is over, so what do you do with those political signs in your yard? They can still have some use.

You can drop off those signs -- free of charge--  at Signarama in Troy where they will be recycled.

And, keep in mind, don't throw the metal stakes into the trash, either. The metal can be reused.

"We collect all the political signs from all the neighboring communities, separate all the plastic from metal and send that off to a recycling facility so it's taken care of properly," says Bob Chapa, president of Signarama in Troy.

Signarama started the program about four years ago.

You can drop off your signs at Signarama on Naughton, near Stephenson Highway andI-75 Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
