More than a dozen organizations are competing for thousands of dollars to help Detroit's youth.

It's called the My Brother's Keeper Innovation challenge. Next week, teams will showcase their ideas in hopes of winning $50,000.

Joining FOX 2 to talk about this event is Kumar Raj, with the Skillman Foundation, one of the companies supporting the challenge.
