LIVE ROAD CONDITIONS: Police handle crashes across Metro Detroit as snow falls
DETROIT (FOX 2) - Police in Metro Detroit have been busy Thursday morning as snow falls, coating the roads and leading to crashes.
As of 8 a.m., the Michigan Department of Transportation is reporting half a dozen incidents on freeways, including I-75, I-275, and I-96. The most crashes have been reported on I-75 in Wayne and Oakland counties.
Currently, no freeways are closed fully, but there are numerous lane closures.
The snow will eventually taper off after dropping ½ to 1 ½ inches from overnight and into Thursday.
