Tax Help Available Through Accounting Aid Society

Missed tax deadlines, overdue back taxes... A notice from the IRS? For some people the stress of tax season doesn't end in April, and the Accounting Aid Society can help!

The Accounting Aid Society assists eligible families and individuals with incomes up to $54,000 for free. They provide year-round tax help with federal, state and local income tax returns. They also help to ensure all federal and state Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) are received. Self service tax help is also available through their Free File program, as well as legal assistance for low-income individuals struggling with the IRS. Small business tax help is also available.
Every year, thousands of Southeast Michigan families get money back through Accounting Aid Society's free tax assistance program. Learn more, volunteer or receive assistance by visiting their website.
