Teen injured after fall from bridge into water at Hines Park

A teenager was injured after falling from a bridge in the water at Hines Park.

The 14-year-old boy hit his head in the water on a rock in the Plymouth Township section of the park at Hines Drive and Wilcox.

Fire department crews rescued the boy a short time after his fall which happened at about 4 p.m. Westland police say he was walking on train tracks with his friends at the time he fell.
