Detroit Tigers outfielder JD Martinez has agreed to a two-year deal for $18.5 million with the Tigers according to FOX 2's Jennifer Hammond.
The agreement has not been confirmed officially because he has not had a physical.
Jennifer Hammond reports the first year $6.75 million in 2016 and about $11.75 million in 2017. This deal also avoids an arbitration hearing.
Last year he batted .282 with 38 home runs and 102 RBI.
