That ended on Detroit's west side on Saturday.
Paul Young is a friend of Joun's and said he was a pillar in the community and he had a big family, now left with a gaping hole. Young said that Joun traveled across the seas to come to America for a new opportunity.
Just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, police confirmed that they had a person of interest in custody but stopped short of calling this person a suspect.
Police said the only thing missing from his Joun's car was his cell phone.
Joun's brother-in-law Amady Gueye says that justice is needed.
