Victim: 'I'll never forget his face' of accused serial rapist Michael Sykes

Joya Porties, a sexual assault survivor of a case police are investigating if Sykes is connected.

The Woman's Worth event is scheduled for April 25.

"A Day of Healing through self defense and self-empowerment" will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cass Corridor Commons, 4605 Cass Avenue in Detroit.

Special presentations will be held for Ta Merrian Martial Arts; The House of Bastet dance and yoga; SASHA Center; Atmospheric Training Academy, Greenhouse Foods.
