Car launches into Livonia house, nearly missing man asleep on couch

A vehicle lost control and barreled through part of a house in Livonia early Monday morning. The crash, which went through the front of the house, into the kitchen, and striking the rear wall, missed a man sleeping inside by about a foot. The driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
