Macomb County Sheriff Department warns of arrest scams
A new scam warning has been issued in Macomb County. One or multiple people have been pretending to be a lieutenant, and they have been demanding money while threatening to arrest people if they fail to comply by coming to jail. The sheriff's office has confirmed that they are not making these calls and assures residents that they will never ask for money.
