Detroit Historical Museum celebrates Educator Appreciation Month with free admission

August is Educator, Education Staff, and Library Personnel Appreciation Month at the Detroit Historical Museum and the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. The Detroit Historical Society is honoring teachers, paraprofessionals, librarians, and all school staff with free admission to both museums throughout the month of August, plus discounts in the museum stores and on membership packages. Guests simply need to show a school, educational facility, or library ID or paystub at the front desk.
