Detroit to host exclusive premiere of 'Kiss My Grass' featuring Detroit natives
A film executive produced by Colin Kaepernick, Rosario Dawson, and others will spotlight Black Women Shaping ? and Challenging Equity in Cannabis. Kiss My Grass, a groundbreaking docu-film co-executive produced by Detroit native Mary Pryor alongside Colin Kaepernick, Rosario Dawson, Luke Anderson, Justin Benoliel, and Nancy Whiteman, premieres in Detroit on September 26. The film examines how cannabis?like so many industries before it?promises equity but often delivers exclusion, particularly for Black women. The Detroit premiere will highlight the women behind the work: leaders whose stories reveal the resilience and inequities that define the fight for real inclusion.
