Friday event highlights Black women graduates of Wayne State Med School amid improving diversity

This Friday, an event highlighting the first black woman to graduate from Wayne State Medical School gives us an opportunity to delve into the significant challenge the largest med school in the state faced when it only admitted one Black student and two Hispanic students in 2014 through regular admissions.
