UAW says 'Many important issues unresolved' as strike drags on

The UAW rejected a proposal from GM on Monday night, after more than two weeks of negotiations. Leadership said the deal didn't satisfy the demands or needs of workers. The UAW then counteroffered with a proposal of their own, and are currently awaiting a response from GM.
