Monroe Police officer in unknown condition after shooting late Sunday night

A Monroe Police officer was injured in a shooting Sunday night after investigating a potential carjacking. Upon discovering the suspects, she was shot twice. Her condition is unknown at this time, but she was taken to a Toledo Hospital where she underwent surgery.
