Macomb County Sheriff won't enforce governor's mask rule

In a tepid rejection of the governor's new rule mandating masks in all indoor spaces, Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said his office wouldn't be enforcing the face mask order. Citing a lack of manpower to respond to every complaint, he said they would only treat cases as trespassing if patrons refused to wear a mask and refused to leave a store.
