A heat advisory is in effect for all of Metro Detroit through 7pm tonight. At times, it could feel as warm as 100 degrees outside. Also, there is a chance for heavy showers and thunderstorms this afternoon mainly between 2pm and 6pm. Stay weather aware! Highs should top out in the low to mid 90s. A slight cool down is on the way by midweek.
