Hamtramck handing out water filters after homes show lead level increases

Tests from at least six homes in Hamtramck came back showing lead levels exceeded both state and federal limits, causing concern among city officials about increased lead exposure to residents. In response, water filters will be handed out Thursday at the Hamtramck Shopping Center.
