1-on-1 with Desmond Child, who has written songs for music royalty

FOX 2's Dave Kinchen talks with songwriter and producer Desmond Child, who has written some of the biggest hits of the last 50 years.  They talked about the hits, his approach to songwriting, and Pride Month as Desmond has been a storied ambassador for the LGBTQ+ community. Some of his credits include:  Bon Jovi: Co-wrote massive chart-toppers including "Livin' on a Prayer," "You Give Love a Bad Name," and "Bad Medicine."  Aerosmith: Collaborated on staples like "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)," "Angel," "Crazy," and "What It Takes."  KISS: Co-wrote the disco-infused rock hit "I Was Made for Lovin' You" and the fan-favorite "Heaven's on Fire."  Alice Cooper: Wrote for the Trash album, including the hit "Poison."  Ricky Martin: Co-wrote and produced the worldwide smash "Livin' la Vida Loca," as well as the 1998 World Cup anthem "The Cup of Life (La Copa de la Vida)."  Cher: Wrote "We All Sleep Alone" and the hit ballad "Just Like Jesse James."    Katy Perry: Co-wrote the #1 hit "Waking Up in Vegas."    Billie Myers: Co-wrote the popular 1990s ballad "Kiss the Rain."
