700 bicycles given away in Detroit as part of mayor's 'occupy the summer' event

For the next 10 weeks, the city of Detroit will spend $1.5 million to help give the cities youth things to "occupy the summer" with. In addition to the new Late Night Basketball league, the program will include extended evening hours at 9 city recreation centers, community activations every Friday and more.
