20-year-old dead, child injured in mysterious shooting in Detroit

A west side shooting in Detroit has left far more questions than answers after a series of ShotSpotter alerts notified police of gunfire in the area of Burgess between I-96 and Fenkell. There, they found a 20-year-old man dead and a 7-year-old child injured nearby.
