The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for all of SE Michigan until noon Tuesday.

A Flood Warning is also in effect for Wayne, Macomb and southern Oakland counties until 10:45 a.m.

Heavy rains overnight brought flooding to parts of southeastern Michigan, closing portions of some Detroit-area freeways and leaving some streets impassable Tuesday.

The FOX 2 Weather Team says its the same system that's causing the terrible flooding in Louisiana .

At least seven people have been reported dead, and thousands of others are at shelters.
