A chilly start leads the way to another warm, beautiful day.

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A chilly start to another beautiful day in Metro Detroit.

Highs reach the low to mid-70s Thursday.

High pressure hangs out through the weekend and the winds shift, pushing our temps back to the 80s. 

Friday's temps will be around 80 headed into the even warmer weekend.

What's next:

We'll kick our temps down next week with rain likely on Tuesday. 

Following the rain comes a dip in temperatures.
