31st Bed & Bread Radiothon Feb. 23

(WJBK) - The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit will host its 31st Annual Bed and Bread Club Radiothon next week. The fundraiser will be broadcast live on News/Talk 760 WJR from the Emagine Theatre in Novi. 

Throughout the 16-hour broadcast, WJR hosts Paul W. Smith, Frank Beckmann, Guy Gordon and Mitch Albom will speak to local and national celebrities and musicians, and civic and business leaders sharing their support for The Salvation Army. 

Major Jan Sjögren from the Salvation Army joined us in studio to tell us more about the radiothon. She's joined by Chef Michael Block, who showed us how to prepare their navy bean and garden vegetable soup. You can watch in the video player above, and get the recipe here.
