Bone marrow drive for local woman with life-threatening disease

(WJBK) - Family, Friends and the community are rallying behind a local woman facing a life-threatening disease.

Becoming a bone marrow donor, getting involved and helping to save lives, is simple and easy.

Joining FOX 2 is Bonnie Burns to share her story, along with her friend Jennifer Purtan and Dr. Andrew Muskovitz.
    
Friends and family are hosting a bone marrow donor registry drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at CrossFit UnPhased, 1940 Thunderbird Dr, Troy, MI 48084.

They're looking for donors ages 18 to 44.
