Detroit Lions cheerleader auditions March 24

(FOX 2) - The Detroit Lions cheerleaders are gearing up for the new season and this weekend is your chance to audition for the squad. 

Joining FOX 2 are current team members Ashley and Mary.

Auditions begin Sunday, March 24 at 8 a.m. at Ford Field with finals on March 25.  Registration is still open at www.detroitlions.com/cheerleaders.

The cost is $30, which elps cover administrative costs. Candidates with an experienced dance background are preferred, but traditional cheerleading/ gymnastics backgrounds are welcome too, per the organization.
