Detroit's New Year's celebration D-Drop moves to Beacon Park
Celebrating the new year in Detroit is becoming a big deal.
The popular D-Drop on New Year's Eve is moving from Campus Martius to Beacon Park because of the steady growth of the event. That's in the theatre-arena district at Grand River and 1st streets.
An estimated 30,000 people are expected to be there to ring in 2018.
The fun starts at 4 p.m. and part of that fun is Cirque Among Us. Joining FOX 2 is Theresam, Sem and Nash Abrahams.
