Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program presents MI Silver Gloves Tournament

(WJBK) - The Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program will present the Michigan Silver Gloves Tournament this month.

The event will take place Dec. 17-18.

It is the first in a three-level series in which non-professional youth boxing participants aim to place in regional, then national Silver Gloves tournaments.

The schedule is:
- 7-9 a.m. Weigh-ins
- 11 a.m. Physicals
- 1 p.m. Boxing begins
