Food Truck Rally in West Bloomfield
Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield will hots its first-ever Food Truck Rally and fundraiser for West Bloomfield Youth Assistance on Friday, June 8. The non-profit organization offers professional counseling services and conducts prevention programs for youth and their families who live within the West Bloomfield School District.
The event will take place in the Orchard Mall Parking lot located at 6337 Orchard lake Rd. frm 5-9:30 p.m.
In addition to the food truck Rally guest can enjoy:
- Orchard Mall retailers will have booths outside at the event with great deals on the latest fashion, fitness and food trends.
- Detroit Dog Rescue will be participating and bringing furry friends that are available for adoption.
- Motown Digital Is Sponsoring our entertainment and secured Byron Cancelmo and the Detroit Motion Band for our stage.
- We will also be working directly with Axis Music to bring in several local kids to play between sets.
West Bloomfield's Deputy Police Chief, Curt Lawson, stopped by the Fox2 Kitchen Saturday morning with Kevin Kellman, of "Brother Truckers" food truck to preview the event. Kellman also showcased one of his favorite recipes for Sloppy Joe's.
Ingredients - Per 5 lbs. of ground chuck.
- 1.5 cups of ketchup
- 3/4 of cup of mustard
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- 1 tablespoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons of garlic powder/ graduated garlic
