Hitting the Ice for Heroes in Garden City

Members of the Garden City police and fire departments will take on the Michigan Warriors in their annual Hockey for Heroes charity game today at 1 p.m. at the Garden City Ice Arena. Proceeds will benefit local programs that assist military veterans and other public safety officers suffering with post traumatic stress disorder.  

Brian Chmieleski, American Legion Wayne County PTSD Coalition Chairman, K-9 Officer Bruce Shippe, and Officer Rudy of the Garden City Police, stopped by the Fox2 News studios Saturday morning to preview the event.
