Italian pop star to make U.S. debut in Detroit performance

(WJBK) - Italian pop star Arianna is getting ready to make her U.S. stage debut right here in Detroit.

Her song "Sexy People" featuring Pitbull hit number 5 on the U.S. dance charts with over 30 million views on YouTube.

Now she'll be playing the role of Sara in Murder Ballad at the Detroit Public Theatre.

She and Courtney Burkett, co-artistic director of the Detroit Public Theatre, joined FOX 2 in studio.
