Lots of kids activities planned for Winter Blast
DETROIT (FOX 2) - The Winter Blast Weekends has returned for another series of cold weather events.
Presented by Quicken Loans and sponsored by Chemcial Bank, any of the expected 100,000 visitors planning on attending can plan for a celebration of old and new treats.
There will be plenty of activities to entertain kids, like interactive science experiments, juggling, puppet shows and more. And don't forget there wil be Arts & Scraps session going on during the second and third week of the festival.
Beyond that however, the festival has been stragically planned to maximize the weather. This includes ice skating, ice sculptures, marshmallow roasting, fodo trucks, family activities and live music.
