(WJBK) - Detroit has five historic parks - Campus Martius, Cadillac Square, Capitol Park, Grand Circus and Paradise Valley's Beatrice Buck Park. This summer, they are all offering hundreds of fun entertainment options from concerts to yoga.
Throughout the summer season in the Downtown Detroit Parks, you can hear national musical artists taking the main stage at Campus Martius Park with the likes of country music star Clare Dunn, indie rock band American Authors and the father of funk George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. On the Rhythm & Stage at Grand Circus Park, see world-class free live theater, acoustic music and art events, such as spectacular aerial performance from Wise Fools New Mexico performing "See Saw."
You can get a full rundown of the events at the parks at www.downtowndetroitparks.com.
