Red Shoe Affair for Ronald McDonald's House at The Big House April 27

Some shoes are made for walking and raising money - all for to benefit families at the Ann Arbor Ronald McDonald House.

Executive Director Kim Kelley and Jim Stark, auction organizer, came to FOX 2 to talk about the big fundraising event for Saturday.

"W have two houses in Ann Arbor," Kelley said. "And we serve 43 families every single night. We are always full serving C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital and all of the patients and their families there.

"Our goal is to remove every bit of stress for the family so that they can focus on their child and what they need in that moment."

The Seventh Annual Red Shoe Affair is Saturday, April 27  at 6:30 p.m. where 550 people will arrive in red shoes and will get to see the locker room, the tunnel, great food, amazing auctions and an afterglow reception. The fundraiser will go to support the families helped by the Ronald McDonald houses.
