SIP at the Community House March 12

There will be a lot to sip and savor at the Community House in Birmingham on Saturday, March 12. The evening will showcase small plate stations by some of the area's best restaurants including Local Kitchen & Bar, The Bird and The Bread, Social Kitchen & Bar, Au Cochon, The Stand Gastro Bistro, Streetside Seafood and Prime 29 Steakhouse.

Ron Edwards, Master Sommelier and SIP's official food and beverage consultant, will masterfully pair small plate selections with craft cocktails to create a collaboration that will heighten the dining experience.

Entertainment will be provided by Detroit jazz crooner, Ben Sharkey, who will entertain the crowd as he performs his stylish interpretation of jazz and R&B favorites.

The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a private champagne and hors d'oeuvre reception for patrons. General admission begins at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event, which is sponsored by the Bank of Birmingham, will benefit children and adults served by The Community House.
