Steppin' Out in Style shopping event March 11

(WJBK) - Steppin' Out in Style is an annual shopping event that raises money for First Step, an organization that helps victims of domestic and sexual violence. 

Steppin' Out in Style is a private shopping event at Carson's that includes food, makeovers and, of course, a 30 percent shopping discount. 

Cheryll Hall Lindsay from RGA Model Management and Debbie Godfrey from Zonta International, the event's sponsor, joined us on The Nine to tell us more. You can hear from them in the video player above. 

The event is Sunday, March 11 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You can get more info online here.  

All tickets, sponsorship and raffle proceeds benefit First Step: Western and Downriver Wayne County Project on Domestic and Sexual Violence.
