Teacher's Pet Hosts 'Welcome to Hollywoof'

Teacher's Pet is an intervention program that pairs troubled youth with hard-to-adopt shelter dogs.

The non-profit will host a gala fundraiser called "Welcome to Hollywoof" on Friday, April 19 at the Detroit Masonic Temple to support the unique Detroit-based apprenticeship program where homeless youth are hired to work with the homeless dogs at Detroit Animal Care and Control.

Amy Johnson, Teacher's Pet executive director, and Robyn Wesley, a Teacher's Pet trainer, droppd by the Fox2 News studios Saturday morning with special guest 'Holly' to discuss the initiative and preview the fundraiser.
