The Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO) has been busy meeting the needs of low-income families in Detroit for sixty years.
To celebrate the diamond anniversary, the NSO will host a gala fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. April 9 at the MotorCity Casino Hotel and the Sound Board. As part of the evening, The NSO will honor individuals and organizations that have provided tremendous support to the organization over the years, including city of Detroit the Kresge Foundation and the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority. Former Detroit Mayor Dave Bing will receive a special tribute.
Sheilah Clay, the NSO’s president and CEO, visited Fox2 Studios Sunday morning to preview the event.
