The 90th National Cherry festival is just 37 days away.
The festival runs from July 2 to July 9 in Traverse City and Trevor Tkach, the executive director of the National Cherry Festival, stopped by with the details.
Traverse City is the cherry capitol of the world, producing 75 percent of the nation's cherry crop.
The event kicks off with a Navy Blue Angels air show, will have three parades, kids events and music performances by Billy Idol and Vanilla Ice.
About 90 percent of the events are free, Tkach said.
