Tunnel to Towers 5k in Berkley Sept. 24

(WJBK) - For the past year, a group of Berkley schools' students has been involved with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to raise money for a smart home for a wounded veteran.

They unveiled a home this past June, but their work has not stopped. They are continuing their work with the foundation by holding a 5k run/walk this weekend honoring our first responders and military heroes.

The inaugural Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk in Berkley will be held beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, on Hurley Field at Anderson Middle School, 3205 Catalpa Drive.
