Waterford firefighter joins musician Sean Blackman to raise money for Puerto Rico

(WJBK) - A Michigan firefighter is on a mission to help those left devastated in his childhood homeland.

Waterford firefighter Javier Martinez is raising money and going to deliver it to hard hit areas in Puerto Rico himself. He's talking about a special fundraiser hosted by musician Sean Blackman's In Transit World Music Concert Series on October 26.

The concert, at Garden Theatre in Midtown, will raise profits for Puerto Rico with 100% of the proceeds going to help in the recovery and rebuilding efforts on the island.
