1 killed, 1 hurt in shooting overnight in Lincoln Park

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (FOX 2) - One person was killed and another was hurt early Monday morning in a shooting in Lincoln Park.

We're told the shooting happened around 4 a.m. on Hanover Street, which is near Southfield Road and I-75.

Police investigating deadly shooting in Lincoln Park

Police are investigating a shooting Monday morning that happened on Hanover Street in Lincoln Park, killing one and injuring another.

Police haven't given details yet about the victims or why the shooting happened.

Michigan State Police are on scene assisting Lincoln Park police with the investigation right now.
