3 dead in fatal crash on I-94 in Dearborn

DEARBORN, MICH (Fox 2) - Just before midnight, three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-94 near Michigan Avenue. 

Police were called to eastbound I-94 at 11:44 p.m. for the crash. 

Investigators said a semi-truck was stopped on the highway due to flooding, when another vehicle slammed into it, killing three occupants. 

The driver of the vehicle survived and was taken into custody.
