Core City neighborhood home to new $2.5M mixed-use development

Detroit's rebirth is booming and not just downtown.

A new $2.5 million development is in the works right now in the Core City neighborhood in the area near Grand River and Warren that will feature shops, restaurants, offices and more.

Randy Pardy is the project manager for the development with real estate company Prince Concepts. The update will include businesses like an ad agency, a bake shop, a gym, a restaurant and more.

Other Prince Concepts projects include True North, a mixed-use project across the street from the new development, and Takoi, an award-winning restaurant in Corktown.

"There's a lot more on the drawing board," Pardy said.

More innovative projects are changing the landscape of the Motor City.
