Crash cleared on SB I-75 at Rochester Road

Southbound I-75 is closed in Oakland County at Rochester Road due to multiple car crashes, MDOT says.

The Michigan Department of Transportation said all southbound lanes of I-75 were closed just after 4:30 p.m. Friday because of multi-vehicle crashes.

MDOT said drivers should avoid the area.

As a detour MDOT says drivers should use WB Square Lake to SB Woodward to EB I-696 to I-75.

They did not offer more details about the seriousness of the crash.
