Detroit Metro Airport ground stop: Delta flights halted
Delta Air Lines flights are grounded at Detroit Metro Airport due to a network issue impacting the McNamara Terminal.
ROMULUS, Mich. (FOX 2) - Delta flights are not leaving Detroit Metro Airport on Friday morning due to a network issue,
The FAA reported that the airline is under a ground stop until at least 9 a.m. Originally, the stop was scheduled until 7 a.m., but has since been extended three times.

According to the FAA, this network issue is only impacting the McNamara Terminal, and no other Detroit Metro airlines are impacted.

Delta released a statement about Friday's travel issues:
"Due to a connectivity outage in Detroit, Delta has issued a ground stop for all flights at DTW airport this morning. Delta teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and customers should monitor the status of their flight via the Fly Delta app and Delta.com."
