Detroit Lions partner with Miller Lite

DETROIT (WJBK) - The Lions are making some big changes at Ford Field ahead of this season, including a new beer partner.

Miller Lite is now the official beer of the Lions.

As part of the multi-year-deal, a new club on the north side of the stadium will be called the Miller Lite Taproom. Millercoors products also will now be sold all around the stadium.

The Miller Lite Taproom will be located on the fifth level of the north sideline adjacent to the GridIron Club and accommodate 200 fans for each Lions home game. Tickets to the taproom can be secured through various Miller Lite promotions before and during the 2017 season.

In addition to the new club, the $100 million renovation includes a new sound system and wifi, upgraded luxury suites and state-of-the-art scoreboards for the end zones.
